New York Energy Group Lauds PSC for Sticking with Clean Energy Standard
New York, NY/November 17, 2016 – In conjunction with the New York Public Service Commission’s (PSC’s) continued support for the Clean Energy Standard at its public meeting today, Arthur “Jerry” Kremer issued the following statement.
“The PSC’s actions mean a better economy and an improved environment for all New Yorkers.
“In fact, the PSC is to be commended for withstanding many unfair, erroneous and often nasty attacks on the Clean Energy Standard. The PSC stuck to the facts and made the right decision for all New Yorkers.
“The bottom line is that the Clean Energy Standard’s costs are minimal, a temporary $2 a month charge to consumers’ bills, and the measure provides $4 billion in net economic benefits to New York over the next two years alone.”
