Following the United States’ departure from the Paris Agreement, the Trump administration followed up with a new goal to increase clean, reliable power throughout the world: by relying on nuclear power.
On May 24, at the Clean Energy Summit in Copenhagen, the U.S., Japan, and Canada agreed to the Nuclear Innovation: Clean Energy (NICE) Future to promote nuclear power development and consequently combat the rise of carbon emissions. Poland and Romania have also agreed to enter the alliance.
By harnessing our most reliable clean energy source to create a global alliance, the U.S. is taking the lead on responsible clean energy solutions.
