We can expect a rise in energy consumption as the days get shorter and colder. But America already owns the status as one of the world’s biggest energy consumers. A recent survey ranked the U.S. eighth among 23 top-energy consumers, just behind China, Japan, and several European countries.
Wasteful energy usage is bad news for the environment and costs the consumers billions of dollars every year. While simple household tips can reduce individual energy bills, energy efficiency programs are vital to reduce overall energy consumption throughout the country.
